Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality imaging and deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment upon arrival at facilities and perform exams as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure acquisition of clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images.
• Conduct EKGs when required and send results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per established protocols.
• Maintain regular communication with dispatch and management.
• Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
• Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Radiologic Technologist state license and ARRT certification.
• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state, with a good standing record.
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory, with provisions for exemptions available.

Physical Demands

The position requires the ability to push/pull between 50-100 lbs, with weight management facilitated by vehicle ramps and pulleys. Regular pushing/pulling of equipment within facilities may involve exertion of 50 lbs or more, occurring multiple times throughout the workday.

Work Schedule

The position requires availability for weekend shifts, as well as flexible scheduling during the week. Shifts may vary and will be discussed during the interview process.
