Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in couplet care, LDRP experience, and some NICU exposure.

Position Information

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7 AM – 7 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 5-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
• Call Requirements: No scheduled call, flexibility based on unit census

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (current certification preferred)
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery
• Float Requirements: Not required but may float to other tasks/secretarial duties if needed

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: As per AWHONN guidelines
• Electronic Health Record: GE Centricity/Paragon
• Supervisor: Sheena Hall

Additional Notes

• The role requires a solid background in couplet care and intermediate fetal monitoring experience.
• Preferred candidates will have experience in a variety of patient cases associated with Labor and Delivery.
