Shift Information

Varied shift schedule, 12-hour shifts with start times of 6 AM, 8 AM, 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.

Job Description

Join a Level II Trauma Center and a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center. The emergency department features 5 pods with a total of 49 beds and a maximum patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1, accommodating approximately 68,000 annual visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Conduct assessments, formulate nursing diagnoses, and implement patient care plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room at a Level II trauma center or higher.
• Hands-on experience in pediatrics, trauma, STEMI, and stroke care.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• ENPC and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting is required.
