Neuro ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to patients in critical condition. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to float to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 3×12 hours (18:45 – 07:15)
• Weekend Requirements: Three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Holiday Availability: Required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required
• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted
• Epic experience within the last 18 months is required

Certification and License Requirements

• Must have a valid Tennessee or compact RN license
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required

Key Responsibilities

The Neuro ICU Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU
• Monitoring and assessing patient conditions and vital signs
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and health maintenance
