ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift and Scheduling

This position requires working three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling is available, and the manager is open to discussing specific days of the week during the interview process.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in critical care units. The successful candidate will work primarily in the ICU and may float to progressive care units and neuroscience units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care to individuals in critical condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, vital signs, and patient responses.
• Operate and manage equipment such as arterial lines and ventilators.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
• Float between various units as required, including CVTU, Tele, ICU, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in ICU or critical care.
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators is essential.
