Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in a dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will adhere to established standards of care and the nursing process while supervising and directing the activities of assigned nursing staff.

Job Summary

The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. This role includes utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze relevant data pertaining to the patient’s health or situation.
• Develop and implement care plans, prescribing interventions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Coordinate care delivery and promote a safe and healing environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Engage in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients and their families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to various levels of nursing staff effectively.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate patient care.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Acute care facility experience is preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• At least two years of recent experience in the nursing field is required.

Organizational Requirements

This position may require interaction in various settings, including travel between multiple locations within the region.
