Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Department Description

The Medical Surgical unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and those requiring both emergent and elective surgeries. Patients are provided with the highest standards of care by dedicated registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS certification required.
• Preferred experience in Orthopedics and Bariatric care.
• Recent experience with Epic is required.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is required for stable cardiac monitoring patients.

Shift Information

• Night shifts, from 1900-0730, with rotating weekends.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Minimum Years of Experience

1 year of relevant experience is required.

Certifications / Requirements

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
