Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team. This position involves providing comprehensive care to patients in a critical access environment, ensuring the health and well-being of mothers and newborns.

Unit Information

• Labor and Delivery, LDRP Unit
• 4 regular LDRP rooms, 1 triage room, and a well baby nursery
• Cerner EMR system utilized

Schedule & Shift

• Alternating 36-hour and 48-hour work weeks
• Day shifts from 06:30 AM to 06:00 PM
• Blocked scheduling available – 7 ON / 7 OFF rotation

Patient Care

The RN will be responsible for a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring individualized care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required
• Must possess an active RN licensure

Additional Requirements

• No call required
• Task floating may be necessary
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted initially; no holidays off will be approved
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
