Medical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team. This position involves working in a general laboratory setting, providing critical support through various laboratory services.

Position Information

• Department: Lab
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Evening (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM), Saturday through Wednesday
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 (32 hours if a holiday occurs)
• Call Requirements: Occasional

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 49
• Patient Population: Mixed
• Equipment Used: EXL, EXL200, Sysmex CS-2500 (Coag), Sysmex XN-2000 (Hematology), Vitas 3 (Chemistry), Siemens Advantus (Ultrasound), Ortho Gel (Blood Bank)
• EHR Systems: MedHost, SafeTrace

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: MT ASCP or equivalent
• Years of Experience: 4 years or more
• Must Have Skills: Proficiency in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, urinalysis, and minimal microbiology
• Preferred Skills: Same as required skills
