Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care while adhering to established protocols and procedures. This role includes floating to other units or facilities as required and may involve weekend coverage as per unit needs.

Shift and Schedule

• Shift: Day 3×12-Hour (07:00 – 19:30)
• Floating: Required to other units or facilities as needed
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry environment
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient information accurately in the EPIC system

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
• Experience with telemetry, ER holding, and cardiac telemetry is preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Documentation System: EPIC
• Medication System: Omnicell
