Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care department. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients with medical neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide focused and compassionate care to patients in a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care unit.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize standardized protocols and procedures in the care of neurological patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to any changes in their status.
• Float to other departments as required, providing support across all facilities when necessary.

Schedule

The position requires working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Experience in Neuro Progressive Care Units is a must.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Familiarity with CVA protocols, External CPAP/BiPAP, TR band application, and Yale Swallowing Screen is essential.
• Previous experience as a Charge RN is preferred.

Additional Information

Staff scheduling is managed through a self-assisted scheduling platform, with typical scheduling periods spanning six weeks. This role may require floating to multiple locations as needed, ensuring flexible and comprehensive care delivery.
