Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care utilizing nursing protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions when necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following facility policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Qualifications

• Current BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Must have a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Ability to float to other units as required.

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Scheduling requests for 48 hours per week can be accommodated.
