Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) to join our team. This position requires a dedicated professional who can provide high-quality surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by providing the necessary support and expertise in the Operating Room.
• Float to the main Operating Room as needed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including sterilization and instrument management.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an RNFA.
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Active Massachusetts state nursing license or a conditional license.

Schedule

This position offers a shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional on-call responsibilities as needed. The role may require flexibility to float to various areas within the organization.
