Physical Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting segments of treatment programs designed to restore and enhance physical, social, and mental functions, contributing to departmental objectives.

Job Summary

This role involves serving as a co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. The Physical Therapist will complete evaluations, establish individualized treatment plans, provide therapy interventions, and communicate care plans effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to meet quality standards and address assessment areas needing attention.
• Utilize appropriate clinical techniques and tools to develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide therapy interventions employing proper treatment protocols and techniques.
• Establish individualized care and discharge plans, ensuring effective communication with all relevant parties.
• Complete comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines.
• Supervise assigned assistants and perform additional job-related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required; this applies only to candidates licensed after January 2016 or those with a foreign equivalent.
• Preferred: Minimum of two years of experience in Physical Therapy.
• Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
