Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background, exceptional skills, and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting patient assessments and providing comprehensive nursing care during labor and delivery.
• Performing sterile vaginal exams and managing patient care for laboring mothers.
• Circulating in the operating room as necessary.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in the patient chart via Epic.
• Participating in educational programs and staff meetings to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery within a large hospital setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate; AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Ability to perform sterile vaginal exams and circulate in the operating room.
• No first-time travelers; prior travel experience is required.
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (Days)
• Hours: 07:00 – 19:30

Additional Information

• Weekend shifts may exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs.
• Free parking is available for all staff.
• Guaranteed hours may be subject to facility call-offs.
