Registered Nurse (RN) – Burn ICU

Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse in a specialized Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment focused on providing high-quality care to patients with burn injuries and related trauma. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in critical care nursing and possess the necessary certifications.

Duration & Schedule

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 3×12 hours (Night Shift: 1900-0730)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, with some flexibility

Patient Care Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:1-3
• Experience Requirement: Minimum of 2 years with adult populations
• First-timers accepted: Yes, but must have adult critical care experience
• Required to float within scope to meet facility needs, including other ICUs as necessary

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• VLS (Venous Life Support)

Additional Requirements

• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias; a test will be administered
• No more than 6 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted, and no holiday RTO
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period
• Travelers will be matched with patients based on their skill level

Parking Information

• Daily On-Site Parking Cost: $15 Days M-F / $4 Sat or Sun all day / $5 Evenings / $4 Nights
• Additional Offsite Parking Option: Available at $10 per day, with a 10-minute shuttle service operational weekdays
