Burn ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Burn ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing critical care to burn and pediatric trauma patients.

Position Details

• Start Date: Firm date of November 16
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours from 1900 to 0730
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:3

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required, particularly with adult populations.
• First-timers: Candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend with some flexibility expected.
• Certifications: Must hold current ACLS and VLS certifications.
• Floating: Willingness to float within scope to other ICUs as needed.
• Telephonic Skills: Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is mandatory; candidates will be required to pass a test.
• RTO Restrictions: No more than 6 days of requested time off; no holiday requests will be approved.
• Guaranteed Hours: The facility may call off one shift during each two-week pay period.

Additional Information

This is an 18-bed Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU where the management has secured adequate staffing to ensure quality patient care. Travelers will be assigned patients based on their skill level. Local candidates are welcomed, and there are no restrictions on the local radius.
