Registered Nurse (RN) – Burn ICU

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU team. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients, ensuring their comfort and recovery in a critical care setting.

Key Details

• Start Date: 11/16
• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 4x12s, 1900-0730
• Patient Ratios: 1:1-3
• Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend, with flexibility expected
• Floating: Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in critical care, including experience with adult patients
• Certifications Required: ACLS, VLS
• Special Requirements: Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; candidates will undergo a testing process

Additional Information

The Burn and Pediatric Trauma ICU is an 18-bed unit, and travel nurses will be assigned patients commensurate with their skill level. Please note that candidates with only pediatric ICU experience will not be considered, as experience with adult populations is essential.

Parking and Transportation

• Daily Onsite Parking Costs: $15 Days M-F; $4 Sat/Sun; $5 Evenings; $4 Nights
• Offsite Parking: Available for $10/day, with a shuttle service operational from 5 am to 10 pm, Monday through Friday
