Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

The Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing high-quality care to children in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in pediatrics and a passion for working with young patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to pediatric patients in adherence to established protocols and standards.
• Float between units as needed based on patient census.
• Participate in on-call duties as required, depending on the unit’s needs.
• Work weekends, completing five shifts within a six-week period.
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:3-5.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred.
• Current unrestricted RN license.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Work Schedule

This position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 19:00 to 07:00.
