Registered Nurse – Pediatrics (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pediatrics department to provide exceptional care to our young patients. This role requires a passion for nursing, particularly in a pediatric setting, and the ability to work effectively during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients.
• Assess and monitor patients’ health status and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Active RN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric nursing experience
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records
  • Pediatric Certification (CPN)
