Pediatrics Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatrics Registered Nurse to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care in a general pediatrics setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
• Shift: Night shifts, 3×12 hours
• Floating: Responsibilities may include floating to sister campuses within a 12-mile radius
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Must be available for holiday coverage

Responsibilities

The Pediatrics Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing nursing care to pediatric patients in a general pediatrics unit
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitoring patients’ conditions and reporting any changes
• Educating families on pediatric care and health management
• Responsibilities may include floating to Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CACU), Trauma Surgical Unit (TSU), Aflac (Pediatric Oncology), and other specialty units as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in pediatrics
• Required Certifications: BLS and PALS
• Experience in pediatric facility settings is mandatory

Candidates are required to adhere to any requests for time off and should provide minimal to no requested time off (RTO) during the assignment period.
