Medical Lab Technician (MLT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician (MLT) to join our team. This position is essential to the operation of our laboratory services, providing accurate and timely laboratory results.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers, centrifuges, pipettors, and microscopes.
• Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Health Information Systems (HIS) for data management and reporting.
• Follow safety and quality assurance standards to ensure the integrity of test results.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate repairs as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of less than 1 year of experience as a Medical Lab Technician preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science (copy of academic degree or transcript required upon hire).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of laboratory equipment and systems.
