NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified NICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to neonates in a Level III NICU. This position requires both clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering compassionate care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to neonates in the NICU setting.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility protocols and best practices in neonatal care.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance care skills.
• Provide support and education to families regarding their infants’ conditions and care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a NICU specialty is preferred.
• Current certifications in BCLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Candidates with prior NICU experience are encouraged to apply, including first-time travelers.

Schedule and Availability

• Shifts: Night shifts, 3×12 hours.
• Weekends: Every other weekend is required, with the possibility of adjustments based on unit needs.
• On-call duties are not required for this position.
• All requests for time off must be specified at the time of submission.

Additional Information

• Travelers may need to float between similar units when necessary.
• Guaranteed hours: The facility reserves the right to call off 1 shift every 2 weeks.
• Free parking available for all staff members.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• Unit: Level III NICU caring for approximately 190 births per month.
