Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in various surgical specialties, including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedic/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology.

Schedule

• On-call duties estimated at 8 days during a 6-week schedule, with duties evenly distributed among RNFAs.
• Kidney call rotation is Monday through Friday from 1800-0600.
• Kidney call rotation on Saturdays and Sundays is a full 24-hour shift from 0600-0600.
• General call rotation on Saturdays and Sundays is from 0700-1700.
• Holiday general call rotation is from 0700-1700; no kidney call is scheduled on holidays.

Work Shift

Shift options available include 4×10 or 3×12 hour schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of scrub and circulating experience in a surgical setting is required.
• Proficiency in the following specialties: robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, orthopedic/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology.
