RN First Assist (RNFA)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled RN First Assist (RNFA) for a 13-week travel position. This role requires strong orthopedic and robotic surgical experience, as well as the ability to perform both first assist and circulator responsibilities during surgical procedures. The RNFA will also be required to be on call for first assist duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first assist during surgical procedures, working alongside the surgeon.
• Perform circulator duties, ensuring the operating room is prepared and maintaining sterile techniques.
• Participate in the care of patients, including those undergoing robotic surgeries.
• Provide assistance in C-section procedures when needed.
• Be available for on-call duties as required for first assist.

Qualifications

• Valid RNFA certification is required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
• Minimum of 75 miles radius required for travel considerations.
• Strong experience in orthopedic surgeries is essential.
• Experience with robotic surgeries is highly desirable.

Work Schedule

This position offers day shifts consisting of 4 ten-hour workdays, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
