Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diverse surgical specialties and be proficient in both scrub and circulating roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures in various specialties including robotics, bariatric, general, colorectal, ortho/spine, vascular, urology, and gynecology.
• Ensure proper instruments and supplies are available for surgical procedures.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile environment.
• Participate in call rotations, providing on-call support as needed, including weekdays and weekends.

Work Schedule

Full-time opportunities are available, with flexibility for 4×10 or 3×12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of scrub and circulating experience required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in various surgical specialties.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities as assigned.
