We are seeking a skilled Surgical First Assistant to join our dedicated team in the perioperative services department. This role will contribute to a range of surgical specialties, ensuring high-quality patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Position Information

• Role: Surgical First Assistant
• Specialties: OB, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Podiatry
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 0700-1500
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
• Weekend Hours: Call only
• Call Requirements: Regular call rotation

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: Certified First Assistant
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year post-training experience

Unit Information

• Operating Rooms: 6 ORs
• Patient Ratios: Standard interoperative care team
• Equipment: Standard surgical equipment
• EHR: MedHost

Supervision

• Supervisor: Director of Perioperative Services

Patient Population

Our facility does not cater to pediatric or neonate patients.
