Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Generalist

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory diagnostics and a commitment to providing accurate and efficient testing services.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday
• Floating within the lab may be required

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests in the laboratory.
• Analyze specimens in areas including blood bank, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, serology, chemistry, and limited microbiology.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff to enhance workflow and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) from ASCP or AMT.
• Associate’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on generalist functions.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

• Facility has a capacity of 149 beds.
• Scrubs are required in red and black colors.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: MedHost.
