Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Conduct invasive cardiac procedures including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and catheterizations.
• Utilize EPIC- CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring.
• Perform patient preparation, monitoring, and evaluation during procedures.
• Assist with adjunct therapies related to cardiac interventions such as atherectomy, IMPELLA, IABP, ACIST, OCT, LHC, RHC, Swan-Ganz catheterization, and IVUS.
• Conduct procedures in the EP lab, including device placements, ablations, and studies.
• Manage patient care in the PV lab, including fistula procedures, lower extremity runoff, and conscious sedation.
• Participate in patient education and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a cath lab setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• RCIS or RCES certification strongly preferred, but not required.
• Experience with scrub and EKG functions.
• Comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule consisting of 4×10 hour shifts, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is required for call duties and potential float assignments during peak periods, such as COVID surges.
