Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit. This position requires expertise in patient care and an ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend Requirement: At least 2-3 weekends out of 6 weekends and one holiday
• On-Call Requirement: No on-call duties are required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit.
• Perform assessments, develop nursing care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting required.
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted for this position.
• Licensure: A pending license will be accepted.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• RTO restrictions: Ideally, no more than 5 days.

Additional Information

Guaranteed hours may be subject to cancellation up to 3 shifts without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours.
