Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team within a Short Term Acute Care setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in providing care for patients in a dynamic medical-surgical/telemetry environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting necessary information accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to improve overall patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• Ability to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
• Willingness to work every third weekend as part of the schedule.
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside beyond a 100-mile radius.
• Accepts pending licenses.
• Requested Time Off (RTO) should ideally not exceed 5 days.

Work Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule, consisting of four 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Block scheduling is not accommodated.

This facility is recognized as a Magnet and Teaching institution with a Level III Trauma designation and operates a total of 672 staffed beds.
